What are some things I did today that my future self will thank me for…..hmmm….
I made whole grain pasta for dinner instead of having taco bell like SOME people I know!! (Robert….)
I didn’t eat Skittles when they were offered to me even though they are my favorite candy.
I still haven’t had any holiday goodies from the teacher’s lounge.
I am going to bed before 9pm (my tomorrow morning self will thank me for that)
Overall, being fit and healthy isn’t about following strict workout plans and counting calories. It’s making adjustments and substituting things in your life that maybe weren’t so healthy FOR healthy things!
For breakfast I had a banana, lunch I had chicken with teriyaki sauce, (I had some multi grain crackers before lunch) and dinner, obviously, I had whole grain pasta with my moms delicious meat sauce!I played A LOT of wall ball today! My right shoulder is hurting from running into a wall (don’t ask….sprinting to fast trying to get a ground ball), so I worked on my left for a long time and it feels great!!! I also played with Erin. She doesn’t like lacrosse anymore.
Tonight is a short blog because I am going to Axis at 5:30 am tomorrow, so I need to get some sleep. But here’s a challenge: find ONE THING tomorrow that you can exchange or do that your future self will thank you for.
